1) download tar.gz version (not the zip) from http://sourceforge.net/projects/webcollab/.
2) Keep default abbreviated sitename.
3) uncheck  'use email' and  don't enter 'smtp' details. 
4) Keep default timezone (GMT).
5) PHP REQUIREMENT LINK : setup.php //version check
